Overview
The Volkswagen Passat Komfort last had a manufacturer update on 06/20/2008. The 2009 Volkswagen Passat is initially available in two bodystyles and one trim: sedan and wagon bodystyles in Komfort trim. Other trims should be available later in the model year. All models are equipped with a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that generates 200horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic controls. Standard features on all models include power amenities, keyless remote entry system, cruise/speed control, and electronic stability control. Safety features on the Passat include side impact and head curtain airbags, tire pressure monitoring system, and front and rear anti-lock brakes. The Volkswagen Passat Komfort was last redesigned in 2006 and the next major change is expected in 2013.
