Overview

The Volkswagen GTI (Auto) last had a manufacturer update on 03/24/2009. The Volkswagen GTI enters 2009 available in four in either two-door or four-door hatchback, and in either manual or automatic transmission. All models are powered by a 2.0L Turbo engine boasting 200 horsepower and 207 ft-lb of torque. Standard on all GTI models is cruise control, air conditioning, 17-inch wheels, sport suspension, and high performance brakes. Options include power moonroof, navigation system, an upgraded stereo with iPod connectivity, ground effects kit, and Hufeisen alloy wheels. The optional Autobahn Package adds a Navigation system, a power glass moonroof, a premium stereo system, leather seating, and specialized exterior coloring. The Volkswagen GTI (Auto) was last redesigned in 2006 and the next major change is expected in 2010.
