Overview

The Saab 9-7x 4.2i last had a manufacturer update on 04/06/2009. Though 2008 was expected to be the last year the Saab 9-7X, it returns for 2009 as a carryover model. It remains available in three models: 4.2i, 5.3i, and Aero. The Aero model comes equipped with GM's LS2 6.0L V8 engine which produces 390hp and 400 lb.ft of torque. Options on the model line include DVD rear entertainment system, navigation system. The 5.3i trim features optional High Polished Aluminum Wheels and Chrome Running Board (dealer installed accessory). The 9-7x features such safety equipment as power adjustable pedals, head curtain airbags, high intensity discharge headlamps with washers and Stabilitrak. The Saab 9-7x 4.2i was introduced in 2005 and is scheduled to be retired in 2009.
