Overview

The GMC Envoy SLE 2WD last had a manufacturer update on 01/30/2009. The 2009 GMC Envoy is available in six models: SLE, SLT and Denali in either 2WD or 4WD configurations. The SLE and SLT trims are powered by a 285 horsepower 4.2L inline six-cylinder engine, while the Denali trim comes equipped with a Displacement on Demand (DOD) 5.3L V8 engine generating 300 hp and 321 lb-ft of torque. Standard features on all models include dual-zone climate control system, XM satellite radio, power door locks and windows, and remote keyless entry system. Bose premium sound, rear-seat DVD entertainment system and touchscreen navigation are also available. Changes for this year include the addition of Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free phone calls. Three new exterior colors are also offered: Sand Beige Metallic, Quicksilver Metallic and Silver-Green Metallic. The GMC Envoy SLE 2WD was introduced in 2002 and is scheduled to be retired in 2009.
