Overview

The Dodge Challenger R/T last had a manufacturer update on 04/23/2009. Introduced last year as a single SRT8 trim, Dodge brings back a full-line up for the Challenger. This sports coupe is available in SE, R/T, and SRT8. Engines offerings include the 3.5L V6, the 5.7L HEMI V8, or the top of the line 6.1L HEMI V8, which boasts 425 horsepower. Other SRT8 upgrades include 20-inch wheels, chrome exterior trim, Keyless-Go technology, a 13-speakers premium audio sound system, and unique interior and exterior accents. An available six-speed manual transmission also makes its appearance for 2009. Hill start assist has been added to manual transmission models for this year, as well as a new limited-slip differential. Options include a multi-media system, premium sound system, and customizable paint. The Dodge Challenger R/T was introduced in 2008; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
