Overview

The Chevrolet TrailBlazer SS 2WD last had a manufacturer update on 12/22/2008. The 2009 Chevrolet TrailBlazer is available in LT and SS trims, both in a 2WD or 4WD configuration. The TrailBlazer LT is powered by either a 285 horsepower 4.2L inline six-cylinder engine or a 300 horsepower 5.3L V8 engine. The performance-oriented SS trim boasts a 6.0L V8 engine that produces 395 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Other SS trim upgrades include VR-rated 20-inch tires, a sport-tuned suspension, and unique interior and exterior trim appointments. New features for 2009 include OnStar 8.0 with available Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free phone calls, and three new exterior colors: Silver Ice Metallic, Silver Moss Metallic and Sand Beige Metallic. The Chevrolet TrailBlazer SS 2WD was introduced in 2002 and is scheduled to be retired in 2009.
