Overview

The Chevrolet Tahoe LS 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 07/13/2009. The 2009 Chevy Tahoe is available in several trims: LS, LS XFE, LT, LT XFE, LTZ, and Hybrid, in either 2WD or 4WD configurations. The LS 2WD is powered by a 4.8L V8 engine while the LS 4WD, LT and LTZ receive a 5.3L 320 horsepower V8 Flex fuel engine. The 5.3L and optional 6.2L engines are mated to a new six-speed automatic transmission. The Hybrid model is equipped with a 6.0L V8 engine coupled with an electric motor and mated to an Electrically Variable Transmission (EVT). Standard amenities across the board include keyless remote entry, OnStar communication with hands-free telephone, driver's information center, deep tinted glass, and roof rails. Three new exterior colors have also been added: White Diamond Tricoat and Red Jewel Tintcoat on the LTZ models and Blue Granite Metallic on the Hybrid models. The Chevrolet Tahoe LS 4WD was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
