Overview
The Chevrolet Colorado Extended Cab LT 2WD last had a manufacturer update on 05/15/2009. The 2009 Chevy Colorado is available in several bodystyles, trims, and drivetrain configurations: 2WD or 4WD configurations, Regular Cab, Extended Cab, or Crew Cab bodystyles, and three trim levels: WT, LS and LT. Engine choices include a 2.9L 185 horsepower in-line four-cylinder engine (standard on all models except the 4WD Crew Cabs), an optional 242 horsepower 3.7L in-line five-cylinder engine, or a 5.3L V8 engine that generates 300 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. All engines are mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic transmission. Also new for this model year, StabiliTrak electronic stability control system is standard on all models, a new brake system on all models, and two new exterior colors: Deep Navy and Aqua Blue Metallic. The Chevrolet Colorado Extended Cab LT 2WD was introduced in 2004 and is scheduled to be retired in 2011.
