Overview

The Cadillac STS V last had a manufacturer update on 03/25/2009. For 2009 the Cadillac STS is carried over from last year with minor changes. It is available in three models--V6, V8 and the high-performance "V" trim. The standard engine is the 302 hp 3.6L direct injection V6. Both the V6 and V8 versions come with rear-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive. Rated at 469 hp with a standard Northstar V8, the STS-V is one of the most powerful Cadillac offered. The STS features a number of optional Luxury or Performance Packages to enhance the driving experience. Optional equipment on the STS-V includes high performance brakes, magnetic ride control suspension and premium steering gears. The Cadillac STS V was introduced in 2005 and is scheduled to be retired in 2012.
