Overview
The BMW 650 last had a manufacturer update on 01/01/2009. The 2009 BMW 6-Series is available in four models: 650 and M6 in coupe or convertible bodystyles. The 650 is powered by a 360 horsepower 4.8L V8 engine, while the M6 receives a 5.0L V10 engine that generates 500 horsepower and 383 lbs-ft of torque. The engines are mated to either a six-speed manual, a six-speed automatic with Steptronic controls (650 models), or a seven-speed sequential manual gearbox automatic transmission (M6 models). Standard equipment on the 6-series includes Bluetooth wireless connectivity, voice-activation system, BMW assist communication system, and DVD-based GPS navigation system. Safety features include tire pressure monitor, trunk entrapment release, front and rear parking sensors, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The BMW 650 was introduced in 2004; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
