Overview
The Audi A8 last had a manufacturer update on 09/03/2008. The Audi A8 returns for 2009 and is again available in three trims--Base, L and L W12. Engine choices include the base 350-hp 4.2L V8 or the 6.0L W12, which boasts 450 horsepower and 428 ft-lbs of torque. Standard luxury amenities include heated leather seats, a six-disc CD changer, and automatic climate control. Available options include massage chairs, a premium stereo system, unique exterior paint choices, and 20-inch wheels and tires. The S8 is a high performance version of the A8 sedan and features a 5.2L V10 engine and other sport characteristics, (such as steering wheel paddle shifters and Adaptive Sport suspension) which distinguish it from the standard A8 model. The Audi A8 was last redesigned in 2004 and the next major change is expected in 2011.
