Overview
The Mitsubishi Eclipse GT (Auto) last had a manufacturer update on 07/01/2009. The Eclipse coupe and Spyder enter 2009 available in two trims: GS and GT, each in either manual or automatic transmission. Updates for this year include a new dual exhaust system on the GT, revamped exterior trim, and a redesigned front end and headlights. The base GS is equipped with a 162 horsepower 2.4L in-line four-cylinder engine while the performance oriented GT boasts a 3.8L V-6 engine that generates 265 horsepower. Standard features on the GS include a CD/MP3-capatible stereo system, 17-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, an alarm system, and power convenience features. The sportier GT is upgraded with a stainless-steel exhaust system, fog lights, traction control, and performance-tuned suspension. The Mitsubishi Eclipse GT (Auto) was last redesigned in 2006; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
