Overview
The Scion xB (Auto) last had a manufacturer update on 05/08/2008. The Scion xB returns for 2009 with little change. The xB is equipped with a 2.4L DOHC four-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) that produces 158 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic with sequential shifting. As with other Scion models, the xB comes equipped "mono spec" so consumers may select from a number of options to customize the vehicle's interior and exterior to suit their personal preferences. Standard features on the xD include a 160-watt Pioneer audio system with iPod connectivity, remote keyless entry, tire pressure mentoring system and front seat-mounted airbags.
