Overview
The Pontiac G6 GT last had a manufacturer update on 06/16/2008. The 2009 Pontiac is available in sedan, coupe, and convertible bodystyles; and in several trims: Base (sedan), GT, and GXP (Coupe and Convertible). New additions for 2009 include a new fuel-efficient 2.4L four-cylinder/six-speed automatic powertrain combination that delivers EPA-estimated fuel economy of 22 mpg in the city and 33 on the highway, XM satellite radio now standard on base G6, and remote vehicle starter standard on GT and GXP. Standard features on all models include keyless remote entry, drivers information center, and OnStar communication system. Four new colors for 2009: Quicksilver Metallic, Summit White, Gold Mist Metallic and Silver Green Metallic. The Pontiac G6 GT was introduced in 2005; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
