Overview
The Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG last had a manufacturer update on 12/31/2008. The 2009 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class is available in two models: CLS550 and CLS63 AMG. The CLS550 is powered by a 382 horsepower 5.5-liter V8 engine while the CLS63 AMG is equipped with a 507 horsepower 6.3-liter V8 engine. Standard features across the board include keyless remote entry, driver's information center, COMAND system, moonroof, and a seven-speed automatic transmission. Safety features include trunk-entrapment release, driver front airbags, and front passenger airbags, and traction control. A P1 Package is available on all models adding keyless go engine start, headlamp washers and BI-HID headlamps, telephone pre-wire with voice activation, DVD-based navigation system, SIRIUS radio feature, ventilated heated front seats, and power rear sun shade. The Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG was introduced in 2006 and a redesign is expected in 2012.
