Overview

The Mitsubishi Lancer GTS (Auto) last had a manufacturer update on 07/09/2008. Shortly after the new-generation Lancer was unveiled, Mitsubishi offers the model for 2009. This sporty sedan is available in several models: DE, ES, GTS, and Ralliart. The new Lancer was designed based on the Mitsubishi Concept-X show car. The standard engine on all models is a 2.0L four-cylinder engine that produces 152 hp and 146 lb-ft. of torque. All Lancer models come with a standard 5-speed manual transmission with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) as an option. Safety features include advanced dual front air bag with occupant sensors, front seat-mounted side-impact air bags and side curtain air bags, driver's knee air bag, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The Mitsubishi Lancer GTS (Auto) was last redesigned in 2008; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
