Overview
The Mercedes-Benz CLK 550 last had a manufacturer update on 09/18/2008. The Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class returns for 2009 and is available in four models: CLK350 Coupe and Cabriolet and CLK550 Coupe and Cabriolet. Powered by a 268-hp 3.5L V6 engine, the CLK350 features a seven-speed Touch Shift automatic transmission, 17-inch premium wheels, a burl walnut wood interior trim, dual-zone climate control, and power memory seats. The more powerful CLK550 boasts a 5.5L V8 engine producing 382 horsepower, as well as adding an AMG-designed front air dam, a chrome dual-exhaust finisher, and a rear apron and spoiler. A top of the line AMG trim will most likely be added later in the model year, featuring a 475-hp 6.3L V8 engine, race-inspired brakes, 18-inch alloy wheels, heated sports seats, twin chrome exhaust tips, and a Nappa leather interior. The Mercedes-Benz CLK 550 was last redesigned in 2004 and is scheduled to be retired in 2009.
