Overview
The BMW 328 i last had a manufacturer update on 03/01/2009. The 2009 BMW 3-Series is available in four bodystyles: Coupe, Sedan, Wagon, and Convertible and five trims: 328i, 328xi, 335i, 335xi, and 335d. The 328 models feature a 230-hp 3.0L in-line six-cylinder, while the 335 i and xi models are powered by a 3.0L Twin Turbo in-line six-cylinder engine producing 300 horsepower and 300 lbs-ft of torque. The new 335d is equipped with a 3.0L twin turbo diesel in-line six-cylinder engine producing 265 horsepower and 425 lbs-ft of torque. All but the 3.0L diesel engines are mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission with Steptronic controls. The 3.0L diesel engines are available only in the six-speed automatic transmission with Steptronic controls. The xi models are equipped with BMW's advance xDrive AWD and traction. The BMW 328 i was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
