The Buick Lucerne Super last had a manufacturer update on 04/06/2009. Buick's large sedan returns for 2009 available in several trims: CX, CXL, CXL Special Edition, and the Super. The Lucerne CX and CXL trims are powered by a new 227-hp 3.9L V6 engine, while the Super boasts a 4.6L V8 engine producing 292 horsepower. Standard amenities across the board include anti-lock brakes, the OneStar communication system, aluminum wheels, keyless entry remote, and XM radio. The optional Luxury Packages adds heated seats, upgraded power seats, a heated steering wheel, turn signal mirrors, and a memory function to both the seats and mirrors. Other options on the Lucerne include unique exterior paint choices, heated and cooled seats, a power glass moonroof, and a Lane Departure Warning System. The Buick Lucerne Super was introduced in 2006; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
