Overview
The Toyota Corolla (Auto) last had a manufacturer update on 04/13/2009. The all-new 2009 Toyota Corolla is available in five trims: Standard, S, LE, XLE and XRS. The Standard, S, LE and XLE are equipped with a new 1.8-liter 16-valve, DOHC four-cylinder engine that produces 132 horsepower and 128 lb-ft of torque. The performance oriented XRS receives a new 2.4-liter engine which produces 158 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a five-speed manual with the availability of either a four-speed automatic (1.8-liter engine) or a five-speed automatic transmission (2.4-liter engine). Standard features across the board include daytime running lights, air conditioning, a XM satellite ready stereo system with a CD/MP3 player, a tire pressure monitor, and front seat-mounted side impact and head curtain airbags. The Toyota Corolla (Auto) was last redesigned in 2009; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
