Overview
The Nissan Murano SL AWD last had a manufacturer update on 06/19/2009. The all-new 2009 Nissan Murano is available in five models: S and SL in FWD or AWD and LE AWD. All Murano are powered by a VQ-series 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine rated at 265 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque. Completing the powertrain is an Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) with Adaptive Shift Control (ASC). The exterior as well as the interior have been completely redesigned. The Murano is built on the same "D" platform as the Altima. Standard features on all models include a new push button start, dual zone automatic climate control, keyless remote entry system, and a tire pressure monitoring system. New optional features include a dual panel power sliding glass moonroof and 2nd row skylight, rain-sensing front wipers, and a power liftgate (all features are optional on SL, standard on LE). The Nissan Murano SL AWD was last redesigned in 2009; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
