Overview
The Smart fortwo Passion last had a manufacturer update on 01/01/2008. The Mercedes Car Group brings its smart brand to the US market for 2008 with the introduction of the fortwo model. This Minicompact is available in hatchback (Pure and Passion trims) and convertible (Passion trim). Standard features on the Pure include a five-speed manual transmission with auto-mode, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and central remote locking. The Passion upgrades by adding alloy wheels, automatic climate control, power conveniences, heated mirrors, and a stereo system with a CD player. The Cabriolet even adds a six-disc CD changer. Leather seating and two-tone paint is offered optionally.
