Overview
All-new last year, the Mitsubishi Outlander returns for 2008 available in three trims: ES, LS, SE and XLS in either 2WD or AWD configurations. New for 2008, the Outlander ES model is now powered by an all-new, fuel-efficient 2.4L 168 horsepower aluminum DOHC MIVEC four-cylinder engine teamed with a new Sportronic CVT transmission. A new Outlander Special Edition model combines the economy of the 2.4-liter powertrain with upscale amenities and options from the V-6 XLS. The LS and XLS are powered by a 220 horsepower 3.0L aluminum MIVEC V6 engine mated to a six-speed Sportronic automatic transmission. Standard features on all models include power windows, locks and mirrors, remote keyless entry, curtain side air bags, and Active Skid and Traction Control (ASTC).
