Overview

The Kia Optima LX (Auto) last had a manufacturer update on 07/01/2008. For 2008, the Kia Optima returns available in five trims: LX Automatic, LX Manual, LX V6, EX, and EX V6. The LX and EX come powered by a 2.4L 162-hp engine; while the LX V6 and EX V6 come powered by a 2.7L 185-hp engine. Standard amenities across the board include chrome grille, alarm system, heated mirrors, and keyless remote entry. The only optional features available are a rear spoiler and wheel locks. Safety features include tire pressure monitor, trunk entrapment release, dual front airbags, front and rear head curtain airbags, and front side impact airbags. An optional Convenience Package offering power adjustable pedals, power seat adjuster, heated seats, and a rear sun shade is available on the EX models. The Kia Optima LX (Auto) was last redesigned in 2006; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
