Overview

The Pontiac G8 GT last had a manufacturer update on 05/05/2008. For 2008, Pontiac introduces the front-engine, rear-wheel-drive G8 sedan, available in base and GT trims. The G8 base features a 261-hp 3.6L V6 engine coupled to a five-speed automatic with manual shift mode. The more powerful GT receives a 6.0L V8 engine, which boasts 362 horsepower and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Both models come equipped with 18-inch wheels, dual-zone air conditioning, the OnStar system, stability control, and keyless entry remote. Options on the G8 include a power sunroof, leather heated seats, 19-inch premium wheels, and a few option packages. The Pontiac G8 GT was introduced in 2008; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
