Overview

The Mitsubishi Outlander LS 2WD last had a manufacturer update on 06/02/2008. All-new last year, the Mitsubishi Outlander returns for 2008 available in three trims: ES, LS, SE and XLS in either 2WD or AWD configurations. New for 2008, the Outlander ES model is now powered by an all-new, fuel-efficient 2.4L 168 horsepower aluminum DOHC MIVEC four-cylinder engine teamed with a new Sportronic CVT transmission. A new Outlander Special Edition model combines the economy of the 2.4-liter powertrain with upscale amenities and options from the V-6 XLS. The LS and XLS are powered by a 220 horsepower 3.0L aluminum MIVEC V6 engine mated to a six-speed Sportronic automatic transmission. Standard features on all models include power windows, locks and mirrors, remote keyless entry, curtain side air bags, and Active Skid and Traction Control (ASTC). The Mitsubishi Outlander LS 2WD was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
