Overview

The BMW X5 4.8i last had a manufacturer update on 06/01/2008. The 2008 BMW X5 is available in two trims: 3.0si and 4.8i. The 3.0i is equipped with a 260 horsepower 3.0L inline six-cylinder engine while the 4.8i receives a 4.8L V8 engine that produces 350 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a six-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. Standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, adaptive speed control, remote controlled power windows, and Xenon adaptive high intensity discharge headlights. The optional Sport Package includes Adaptive Drive which combines Active Roll Stabilization with Electronic Damping Control.
