Overview

The Kia Rio5 SX (Auto) last had a manufacturer update on 05/01/2008. For 2008, the Kia Rio and Rio5 return with the addition of an LX to the Rio5 line-up. The Rio is available in base, LX, and SX sedans, while the Rio5 is now available in LX and SX hatchbacks. Both the Rio and Rio5 come powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder 110-hp engine; paired with both a manual transmission and automatic transmission. Safety features include trunk entrapment release, dual front airbags, front and rear head curtain airbags, and front side impact airbags. A convenience Power Package is available, offering all power conveniences, keyless remote entry, heated mirrors, anti-lock brakes, and alloy wheels. The Kia Rio5 SX (Auto) was last redesigned in 2006; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
