Overview

The Kia Sorento LX 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 09/14/2007. The 2008 Kia Sorento is available in either 2WD or 4WD and in three trim levels: base, LX, and EX. All models are powered by a 3.8L V6 engine producing 242 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque. The V6 engine is matted to a five-speed automatic Sportmatic transmission. This five-passenger utility boasts a larger list of safety features including dual-stage front airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, ABS disc brakes, traction control, and a tire-pressure monitoring system. The LX Sport Package adds fog lights, black chrome side step bars, rear spoiler, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and five-spoke alloy wheels. The EX Luxury Packages upgrade the EX trim with dual-zone automatic climate control, automatic headlamp control, Leather Package, power glass moon roof, six-disc CD changer, heated front seats, and machined alloy wheels. The Kia Sorento LX 4WD was introduced in 2003 and a redesign is expected in 2010.
