Overview

The Mercedes-Benz SLK280 Special Edition last had a manufacturer update on 08/15/2007. For 2008, the Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class comes in several models--SLK280, SLK350 and SLK55 AMG. Special Edition models are also available. The model line is carried over from last year with no significant changes. To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the model, Mercedes-Benz will offer a Ten-Year Anniversary Edition. Featured equipment will include standard automatic transmission, 17-inch wheels and tires, special "Edition 10" badging, as well as red stitching on the seats and red dash trim. The top-of-the-line AMG model features unique trim on the dash and console, sport steering wheel with paddle shift, premium AMG leather interior, 18-inch tires, sport exhaust and other performance amenities unique to the nature of the vehicle. The Mercedes-Benz SLK280 Special Edition was last redesigned in 2005, with minor changes expected again in 2009.
