Overview

Premiering at the Frankfurt Auto Show, the new X6 is referred to as a "Sport Activity Coupe" by BMW. The vehicle is a four -door crossover with an emphasis on performance and handling, while featuring the aesthetic characteristics typical of the BMW X line. The debut of the vehicle also introduced BMW's planned hybrid technology called ActiveHybrid which officials promise will result in improved fuel economy without compromising the driving experience. The X6 will be built in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
