Overview
The BMW 328 i last had a manufacturer update on 09/01/2007. The BMW 3-Series returns for 2008 offering four bodystyles: Coupe, Sedan, Wagon, and Convertible and four trims: 328i, 328xi, 335i, and 335xi. The 328 models feature a 225-hp 3.0L in-line six-cylinder, while the 335models are powered by a 3.0L Twin Turbo in-line six-cylinder engine producing 300 horsepower and 300 lbs-ft of torque. All engines are mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission with Steptronic controls. The xi models are equipped with BMW's advance xDrive AWD and traction. The convertibles feature a fully power retractable hardtop, boasting a 22 second push button retracting time, while the wagons receive a unique panoramic glass moonroof. The BMW 328 i was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
