Overview

The 2008 Toyota 4Runner is available in three trims: SR5, Sport, and Limited in either 2WD or 4WD configurations. Engine choices on all models include a 236 horsepower 4.0L V6 engine and a 4.7L V8 engine that produces 260 horsepower and 306 lb-ft of torque. All engines are mated to an electronically controlled five-speed automatic transmission. New standard safety features on all models include driver and front passenger seat mounted side airbags and first and second row side-curtain airbags with roll-over sensor. Available options include third row seating, a roof rack, a six-disc CD changer, and a navigation system. An optional Preferred Accessory Package adds cargo mat, cargo net, first aid kit, and floor mats.
