Overview

The Subaru Impreza WRX w/Navigation & Sirius Radio last had a manufacturer update on 12/11/2007. The all-new 2008 Subaru Impreza is available in two bodystyles and two trims: sedan and wagon bodystyles in 2.5i or WRX trims. The Impreza receives new exterior styling as well as a new more refined interior. The WRX is powered by a 2.5L turbocharged flat-four Boxer engine that generates 224 horsepower and 226 Lb.-ft. of torque while the 2.5i receives a new 170 horsepower 2.5L four-cylinder engine. All engines are mated to a five-speed manual transmission or an optional four-speed automatic transmission on the 2.5i. New safety features include standard side-curtain airbags on all models and an available Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC). Several port-installed options (PIO) may be added to the Impreza, such as a day/night rearview mirror, a short throw shifter, remote engine starter, and a titanium shift knob. The Subaru Impreza WRX w/Navigation & Sirius Radio was last redesigned in 2008; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
