The Dodge Ram 3500 Mega Cab Laramie 2WD last had a manufacturer update on 12/10/2007. Dodge's full-size heavy duty truck returns for 2008 available in several models: SXT, SLT, and Laramie trims in 2WD or 4WD configurations. Each Ram 3500 Mega Cab trim is presented with a standard double-rear wheel (DRW), with the single-rear wheel (SRW) being offered as a discount option. Engine choices include a 5.7L V8 HEMI or a Cummins 5.9L Turbo Diesel HO engine, which boasts 325 horsepower and 610 lb-ft of torque. The optional Trailer Tow Group adds a heavy-duty battery, a 7-wire trailer harness, and a class IV trailer hitch receiver. Other options include side-impact airbags, a limited slip rear axle, a power sunroof, chrome exterior features, and the UConnect hands-free communications system with Bluetooth. The Dodge Ram 3500 Mega Cab Laramie 2WD was last redesigned in 2003 and the next major change is expected in 2009.
