Overview
The Isuzu Ascender 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 08/13/2007. The Ascender enters this year available in two models: 2WD and 4WD. Both models come equipped with a 291-hp 4.2L V6 engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment includes a tire pressure monitor system, six-spoke machined-finished alloy wheels, all power conveniences, woodgrain interior trim, and roof rails. Optional packages available on the Ascenders include a Leather Package, LS Package, Luxury Package, and a Preferred Package. The Luxury Package includes color-keyed moldings, an auto rearview mirror, heated leather seats, and a Bose premium sound system. The Isuzu Ascender 4WD was introduced in 2003 and is scheduled to be retired in 2009.
