Overview

The Nissan Maxima SE last had a manufacturer update on 07/08/2008. The Nissan Maxima returns for 2008 available in two trims, SE and SL. Both models come equipped with a 3.5L 255-hp V6 engine, paired with a CVT automatic transmission. Standard amenities include all power conveniences, garage door opener, and skyview roof. The SL adds as standard a Sensory Package offering heated mirrors, passenger seat adjuster, heated leather seats, AM/FM stereo with six-disc CD changer and MP3 capabilities, and XM radio feature. Safety features include trunk entrapment release, dual front airbags, front and rear head curtain airbags, and front-side impact airbags. Optional features include moon roof, vehicle dynamic control, front and rear mud guards, and DVD-based navigation system. The Nissan Maxima SE saw minor changes in 2007, and is expected to be redesigned in 2009.
