Overview
The Toyota Yaris S (Auto) last had a manufacturer update on 05/08/2008. Introduced in 2007, the current Yaris continues in 2008 with few changes to features and options offered, but adding a Sport model to the existing line-up. Now available in eight models--Base and S trims in either hatchback or sedan with manual or automatic transmission. The hatchback Sport is new this year and receives color-keyed bumpers and side panels, sport bucket seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, 15-inch wheels, and a stereo system with MP3 capability. The only equipment change to the Yaris line-up is the addition of a standard tire-pressure monitor. All Yaris models feature a 1.5L engine which produces 106hp. With revised EPA estimates, mileage for the sedan is expected to be in the 29/36 (city/highway) range. The Toyota Yaris S (Auto) was introduced in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
