The Hyundai Veracruz GLS FWD last had a manufacturer update on 07/01/2008. Introduced last year, the Hyundai Veracruz returns for 2008 available in six models: GLS, SE, and Limited in FWD or AWD configurations. The Veracruz is powered by a 260 horsepower 3.8L V6 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Memory settings for the power driver seat, exterior mirrors and steering wheel, power tilt/telescopic steering wheel, adjustable gas and brake pedals, proximity key with immobilizer, rain-sensing wipers, 115-volt power outlets and lighted door scuff plates are now standard equipment on the Limited models. Also new to the Limited model is an optional LG designed vehicle navigation system. Other options on the Veracruz include a rear entertainment system, a back-up warning system, hidden third row seating, wheel locks, and a cargo tray. The Hyundai Veracruz GLS FWD was introduced in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
