Overview

The Hyundai Accent GLS (Auto) last had a manufacturer update on 02/21/2008. The 2008 Hyundai Accent is available in three trims: GLS sedan and GS and SE two-door hatchbacks. The Accent is powered by a 1.6L DOHC inline four-cylinder engine that generates 110 horsepower and 107 lb-ft of torque. The 1.6L engine is mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic transmission. Safety equipment on all models includes front and side impact airbags and head protection airbags. Standard features for all models include a rear spoiler (hatchback only), a cabin air filter, a tachometer, and a remote hood and fuel door release. SE upgrades include air conditioning, power convenience features, 16-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and heated outside mirrors. The Hyundai Accent GLS (Auto) was last redesigned in 2006, with minor changes expected again in 2009.
