Overview

The Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab SLT 4WD Long Bed last had a manufacturer update on 02/06/2008. Dodge's full-size heavy duty truck returns for 2008 available in several models: ST, SLT, SXT, and Laramie in 2WD or 4WD configurations. Short and Long bed lengths can also be selected. Engine choices on the Ram 2500 Quad Cab include a 5.7L V8 HEMI or a Cummins 5.9L Turbo Diesel HO engine, which boasts 325 horsepower and 610 lb-ft of torque. To complete the powertrain, three different transmissions are offered: a six-speed manual, a four-speed automatic, or a five-speed automatic. 4WD models offer an optional Protection Group, which adds transfer case skid plates and tow hooks. Other options include side-impact airbags, a limited slip rear axle, a power sunroof, chrome exterior features, and the UConnect hands-free communications system with Bluetooth.
