Overview
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 06/16/2008. The Grand Cherokee returns for 2008 with significant updates including restyled exterior and interior. It is available in four trims: Laredo, Limited, Overland, and SRT-8. Engine choices on the Grand Cherokee include a 3.7L V6 engine on the Laredo, a new 4.7L V8 engine on the Limited, a 5.7L HEMI V8 engine on the Overland ( optional on the Limited), 6.1L HEMI V-8 engine, and a optional 3.0-liter common rail diesel V-6 engine available on the Limited and Overland. New amenities include a MyGIG Multimedia Infotainment System that has a built-in navigation, audio, entertainment and communication system. Other new available features include HID auto-leveling headlamps, hill descent control, hill start assist and trailer sway control. The Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4WD was last redesigned in 2005; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
