Overview

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 06/16/2008. The Grand Cherokee returns for 2008 with significant updates including restyled exterior and interior. It is available in four trims: Laredo, Limited, Overland, and SRT-8. Engine choices on the Grand Cherokee include a 3.7L V6 engine on the Laredo, a new 4.7L V8 engine on the Limited, a 5.7L HEMI V8 engine on the Overland ( optional on the Limited), 6.1L HEMI V-8 engine, and a optional 3.0-liter common rail diesel V-6 engine available on the Limited and Overland. New amenities include a MyGIG™ Multimedia Infotainment System that has a built-in navigation, audio, entertainment and communication system. Other new available features include HID auto-leveling headlamps, hill descent control, hill start assist and trailer sway control. The Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD was last redesigned in 2005 and the next major change is expected in 2011.
