Overview

The Dodge Nitro SXT 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 06/16/2008. After it introduction last year, Dodge brings back the Nitro in several trims: SXT, SLT, and R/T, each offered in 2WD or 4WD configurations. This mid-size SUV is powered by a 210-hp 3.7L V6 engine (SXT and SLT) or a 260-hp 4.0L V6 engine (R/T). Standard features across the board include anti-lock brakes, side-impact airbags, and an electronic stability program. The higher trims add the Load ‘n Go cargo floor feature, which slides 18 inches to provide easy loading and unloading of heavy cargo of up to 400 pounds. Available options on the Nitro include a DVD navigation system, a rear seat entertainment system, the UConnect communication system, a premium stereo with MP3 capability, and a satellite radio. The Dodge Nitro SXT 4WD was introduced in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
