Overview

The Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT 4.0L 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 05/01/2008. Ford's crossover pickup enters 2008 with added safety, additional standard equipment, and an expanded list of options. The Explorer Sport Trac is offered in XLT and Limited, available in a 2WD, 4WD, or AWD (Limited only). New standard features for this year include side curtain airbags, one-touch up/down rear windows, front fog lights, added storage, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Rounding off the list of changes for this year is the addition of three new exterior colors: Stone Green, Vapor Silver, and White Suede. Options on the Explorer Sport Trac include larger premium wheels, a rear-seat DVD entertainment system, a voice-activated navigation system, two-tone front sport bucket seats, and a power moonroof. The Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT 4.0L 4WD was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
