Overview

The Saab 9-7X 5.3i last had a manufacturer update on 05/28/2008. The Saab 9-7X returns for 2008 as a carryover model. It remains available in three models: 4.2i, 5.3i, and Aero. The 4.2i is powered by a 4.2L inline six-cylinder engine producing 290 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque while the 5.3i equipped with a 300 horsepower 5.3L V8 engine with a Displacement on Demand system. All engines are mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. As with the 2007 model, OnStar equipped models will feature a new service from OnStar called Turn-by-Turn Navigation. Customers will be able to talk to a live advisor, who sends complete step-by-step directions to the customers OnStar system. A tire pressure monitoring system is standard on both models. The is expected to be the last year of the 9-7X. The Saab 9-7X 5.3i was introduced in 2005 and is scheduled to be retired in 2010.
