Overview

Ford's full-size truck enters 2008 available in several bodystyles, trims, and drivetrain configurations: 2WD or 4WD configurations, Regular Cab, Super Cab, and SuperCrew Cab bodystyles, short, standard or long bed lengths, and five trim levels: XL, STX, XLT, FX4 (4WD models), and Lariat. For the first time, an XL SuperCrew model will be offered. The F150 has also has several engine choices, including a 4.2L V6, a 4.6L Triton V8, and a 5.4L Triton V8, which generates 300 hp and 365 lb-ft of torque. Revisions for this year include the addition of a Cargo Management System, an available rearview camera, and a new STX Wheels and Stripes Package. Two new exterior colors are also newly available, Stone Green and Mahogany (King Ranch only).
