Overview

The Mazda Mazda3 Mazdaspeed Sport last had a manufacturer update on 04/15/2008. The Mazda3 returns for 2008 available in sedan and hatchback bodystyles, the Mazda3 is offered in several trims: i Sport, i Touring, s Sport, s Touring, and s Grand Touring, as well as Mazdaspeed Sport and Grand Touring hatchbacks. Engine choices include a 148-horsepower 2.0L four-cylinder engine and a 156 horsepower 2.3L four-cylinder engine (both engines are P-ZEV compliant in California-emission states) A Turbocharged version of the 2.3L four-cylinder engine on the Mazdaspeed models produces 263 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. Transmissions consist of either a five-speed manual, four-speed automatic, five-speed automatic, or a six-speed manual transmission. The Mazda Mazda3 Mazdaspeed Sport was introduced in 2004, and minor changes are expected in 2010.
