Overview

The Dodge Dakota Crew Cab ST 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 11/27/2007. The new 2008 Dodge Dakota is available in two cab styles and six trim levels: Extended Cab and Crew Cab and ST, SXT, SLT, TRX, Sport, and Laramie trims in 2WD or 4WD configurations. All models except the Laramie are powered by a 210 horsepower 3.7L V6 engine mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic transmission. A new 4.7L V8 engine generating 302 horsepower and 329 lb-ft of torque is standard on the Laramie and optional on the SLT, TRX, and Sport. The 4.7L V8 engine gets mated to a new five-speed automatic transmission. Exterior enhancements include a newly styled hood, grille, front fascia, rear spoiler, fenders and headlamps. The interior is updated with new instrument panel, center console, accent finishes and several new interior storage choices.
