Overview

The Volkswagen Passat VR6 last had a manufacturer update on 04/18/2008. Having been complete redesigned in 2006, the 2008 Volkswagen Passat sedan and wagon returns with only minor changes. The line-up consists of four trim levels--Komfort, Lux, Turbo and VR6, with the VR6 model offering VW's 4Motion all-wheel drive system with the manual transmission available only on turbo models. All models will receive side manual sunshades, leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel, power 12-way driver's seat and a temporary spare tire. The Komfort trim makes standard 17-inch wheels and as optional heated seats available. Turbo models feature chome interior and exterior trim, standard 16-inch wheels and optional heated seats. Front and side head-curtain airbags are standard. The Volkswagen Passat VR6 was last redesigned in 2006; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
